All mentors require certain conditions to be met before they appear in Conton City, including Main Story progression, Advancement Tests, and DLC purchases. Including DLC characters, there are a total of 33 available mentors in the game. The Partner Guage for a mentor can be increased by going on quests with said mentor, using a Dual Ultimate Attack with them, or fighting alongside them in Extra Story mode. The more the Partner Gauge fills, the more powerful the Dual Attack with that instructor will be. Upon reaching max friendship with an instructor, the player will acquire a DUAL Ultimate Attack and a Partner Guage will appear for that instuctor on the Instructor Information page. Partner Gauge as shown in the Instructor Information menu. You can check your level of Friendship with instructors by selecting Play Data from the Lobby Menu and then choosing Instructor Information.
